AAA presents Highroads with Dan Davis earns Three Telly Awards

Phoenix. June 11, 2013. AAA Arizona’s travel and lifestyle TV show, AAA Presents Highroads with Dan Davis, has been recognized with three Telly Awards.

This makes seven Telly awards for the show. The award honors local, regional and cable television commercials and programs, as well as video and film productions, and work created for the Web. Winners are awarded a Silver Telly, the highest honor, or a Bronze Telly, for outstanding achievement.

Now in its third season, AAA Presents Highroads with Dan Davis won Telly Awards in the Film/Video category for TV programs, segments or promotional pieces in travel and tourism for the following episodes:

  • Silver: Episode 1, in which Dan attends the Lake Powell Balloon Regatta.
  • Bronze: Episode 4, in which Dan cruised to Alaska with AAA members and fans.
  • Bronze: Episode 9, in which Dan visits Las Cruces, N. M.

The show received four Telly Awards in its first season.

Founded in 1978, the annual Telly Awards honors outstanding local, regional and cable TV commercials and programs, as well as video and film productions and web commercials. More than 14,000 entries were received nationally from all 50 states and internationally. Entries are judged by advertising and production professionals from across the country.
