AAA Assists in Yarnell Relief Efforts

Club makes donation, collects goods for victims

AAA Arizona helped the families and the community of the fallen Yarnell firefighters.

AAA Arizona and the Community Safety Foundation, funded by AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah Insurance Exchange, donated $10,000 to the families of the fallen via the United Phoenix Firefighters Association. In addition, AAA Arizona is collecting water and non-perishable food items for the Salvation Army at its offices statewide.

“In times of tragedy, it’s important for Arizonans to come together to help those in need,” said Mike Tully, president and CEO of AAA Arizona. “Giving back to the communities we serve is at the core of AAA’s values. We’re glad to give back in any way we can to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.”

The club collected food and water for victims of the fire at each of its offices through July 19.

Employees of AAA’s Prescott office volunteered with the Salvation Army making lunches and helping with relief efforts for evacuees. AAA employees also participated in the donation drive.
