 The world famous Mining Camp Restaurant opened its doors in 1961, at the base of the beautiful Superstition Mountains in Apache Junction. You’ll enjoy a historic glimpse into the long and colorful history, legend and lore of this area. The restaurant's unique exterior still follows the theme of the early mining camp cook shanty – synonymous with good food, as any old-time miner can tell you.

As was the case in the old camps, the Mining Camp Restaurant serves "all you can eat," (Family Style Dinners right to your table) from heaping platters of golden brown roast chicken with stuffing and gravy, to oven baked ham, world-famous barbecue ribs and even delightfully prepared choice char broiled steak.

Or choose table and booth seating in The Dutchman’s Hide Out, featuring rustic wood planked walls and brushed copper tabletops in cozy booths where you can choose from a menu specializing in mesquite grilled certified Angus prime rib of beef, steaks and seafood along with beer and wine.
