Dear Bill, Thank you so much for taking care of my car when I needed help the most! When I called you on Thursday you asked if I was home and I was. You sent me a driver with a loaner car within an hour. The next morning you called to say my car was cured/repaired and a driver was on the way to my house to bring my car home. Amazing to me! My car was shining with a wash (and wax according to me), the gas tank was full, the faulty windshield wiper was replaced, the remote transmitter was working and your driver said there was no charge. You were heaven sent! So many challenges before me right now and you absolutely turned my day whole day around. Thank you from my heart. We have been contemplating the purchase of a new car for some time now but we both dreaded the experience of dealing with local Toyota dealerships due to our past experience. In 2004, we drove to a Tucson Toyota dealership with the intention of buying a new Camry and were met with lukewarm reception. We subsequently drove to another Tucson Toyota dealer where they asked to drive the trade-in and held the keys captive so we couldn't leave. After too long a wait, Mary (all 5 ft. of her) lost her Italian temper and the keys were promptly returned and ONLY when we were in our our car and ready to leave, did they come up with a reasonable offer and we ended up buying a car. When we saw the AAA car buying ad in Highroads (we have been AAA members for 21 years), we jumped on the opportunity to call the 800 number, and voila, we ended up with "can do it" Oscar in Tucson. He called us on July 13; he met us on July 14 to assess the trade-in. We told him we wanted either a 2012 Camry or a 2012 Lexus, and gave him a short list as to color, model, etc. We drove away in our new Lexus on July 23rd, completely satisfied with the transaction and the smooth way that Oscar put it all together. Our respect for AAA was reinforced and are sure you will have continued success with employees like Oscar Alvarado. Dear Joseph, I am writing you to express my satisfaction with Gerry Wilson, the car buying consultant at my neighborhood AAA office on Thunderbird and 75th Avenue. My father, Jerome Roland, used your assistance in the 90s to buy a car, and then Gerry's about 8 years ago to buy a car. As a new college graduate with a set 2 year job in Phoenix, I had some specific needs when it came to purchasing my new car. I needed a 24 month lease with all of the same benefits of a 36 month lease, and affordable payments. I spent some time at local dealerships, an entire day in fact, and left feeling high pressured, dejected, and exhausted. The next day I sought Gerry's help and he did more for me in 90 minutes than 3 different car dealerships did for me in an entire day. He made the process painless and even pleasurable. On top of it all, he got me the car I wanted at a better deal than I ever anticipated. He is very efficient, obviously has a great rapport with various dealers, and he gets the job done in a timely manner. I really appreciated his expert help. The car industry can be confusing, especially for a first time buyer. Every aspect of how Joe Shultz and Mike Willand handled our transaction was professional, courteous, and efficient. They both were amazing at how well they handled everything. They saved us money. Recently my husband decided it was time for a new car. Purchasing a car is rarely a satisfying or enjoyable experience. One always feels the best deal was not made. After talking with friends who had used the AAA service, we decided that was the way to go. Always on a treasure hunt, I searched the country online making sure the best deal was being made. Michael Willand was the person we worked with. We told him what we wanted. Our initial idea of what we wanted to spend was absurd. We didn't know...just making a blind stab at what we thought we should be spending. Michael was patient with our ridiculous requests. In his soft spoken manner he would tell us what we would probably have to spend. It seemed way out of our ballpark. Obviously, we were clueless where the ballpark was. Yes, Michael was right. Michael got us exactly what we wanted. He did all the legwork we despise doing, the haggling we abhor, and we did not spend the three or four hours needed to come up with just short of the "best deal out there" at the dealership. He was knowledgeable in all aspects of the purchase. He knew and understood all the bells and whistles we needed. He remained in contact with us throughout the process. When the car arrived he took us through the basic ins and outs of the vehicle. He answered all our questions. How could he know all that about our particular vehicle?! He is the consummate professional. Car dealerships give us the heebie jeebies. This was painless. Although we have been members of AAA for many years and purchased memberships for our sons, we were ignorant of the car buying service even though you advertise it well. We will recommend this to our friends, family and anyone who will listen. You provide so many valuable services and I need to make myself more aware of all of them. Michael let us know many options available to us such as extended warranty, etc. One more important question he answered for us was where to get the car serviced in the upcoming years. I had been relying on Better Business Bureau...uh oh. Duh!! I will look for the AAA sign. I did that in Colorado...just forgot when we got here. Now we have a couple of trustworthy options here. Dear Mr. Shultz, My wife and I recently bought a car through the AAA car buying program and cannot say enough about what a pleasant experience it was. The difference between the AAA program and having to shop at individual dealerships is tremendous. I would especially like to commend to you the service we received from Mr. Wade Wilkinson. The first car he showed us is the one we wound up buying, however, there were a couple of obstacles to overcome. It was our intent to pay cash for the car out of an investment account of my wife's. Because we could not get the cash for about a week, Mr. Wilkinson had to figure out how we could keep the car until the check arrived. Just in time we found out that my wife had received some bad advice from the account manager about the tax liability on this withdrawal. We then had to call Mr. Wilkinson and tell him we would have to finance the vehicle instead of paying cash for it. Despite these speed bumps Mr. Wilkinson remained very positive in his dealings with us and helped us avoid getting stressed by the obstacles with a wonderful sense of humor. I assure you that in the future, whenever I know someone is looking for a new or used car I will mention AAA's car buying program and if they live in this area I most assuredly will recommend the use of Mr. Wilkinson's services. Brian, I just wanted to take a minute to tell you that buying my 2012 Honda Civic LX (in BEAUTIFUL silver alabaster) was the BEST car buying experience EVER!!!! You were more than informed about the product I was purchasing which I was grateful for. I'm a total Honda snob and I was nervous shopping at a non-Honda dealer. You also made sure to pay close attention to when and how I wanted to be communicated with. Any time we communicated, you never wasted my time which is priority one to me. I have been telling everyone that will listen or read (you know I love to text, tweet, etc.) about AAA Auto Sales and YOU!
